The Grady Ponce Center is thrilled to announce their very first Cinco de Mayo Feria Comunitaria on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM at The Ponce Center (341 Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308).

As a satellite clinic of the Grady Health System, the Ponce Center specializes in infectious disease treatment and prevention, serving patients throughout their lifespan. With over 3,000 Hispanic and Latin patients, this community represents one of the largest populations they serve.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local organizations, provide access to essential health and wellness resources, and offer immigration and empowerment services to our patients. Participating agencies will also have the chance to network with community partners, engage with Ponce Center staff, and foster meaningful connections with our patients.

El Centro Ponce de Grady se complace en anunciar su primera Feria Comunitaria de Cinco de Mayo el viernes 2 de mayo de 2025, de 12:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m., en el Centro Ponce (341 Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308).

Como clínica satélite del Sistema de Salud Grady, el Centro Ponce se especializa en el tratamiento y la prevención de enfermedades infecciosas, atendiendo a pacientes a lo largo de toda su vida. Con más de 3,000 pacientes hispanos y latinos, esta comunidad representa una de las poblaciones más grandes a las que servimos.

We at Latino LinQ and our friends from Emory School of Medicine have an exciting event we want to share with you. 

We are inviting you to join us for The Impact Exchange: Community Solutions Summit For Health. We will gather to present and discuss the preliminary results of the focus group discussion that our team conducted the past year.

This meeting also intends to open a space to discuss important and related topics affecting our community today. We will discuss current public health practices that include but are not limited to HIV network detection response, how this practice allows timely response, and how we can collaborate more effectively with the community.

Lo invitamos a que nos acompañe en Conversaciones con Impacto: Solunciones Comunitarias Para La Salud. Será un día para que la comunidad tenga la oportunidad de reunirse, escuchar resultados preliminares del proyecto científico REACCTS, compartir ideas y continuar las discusiones que iniciamos en nuestros grupos focales.

Además, podremos profundizar en temas importantes que están afectando a nuestra comunidad en la actualidad. Discutiremos las prácticas actuales de salud pública que incluyen, entre otras, la respuesta de detección de grupos de VIH, cómo esta práctica permite una respuesta rápida y cómo podemos colaborar de manera más efectiva con la comunidad.

Thrive Together: Agnes Scott College Health Fair aims to foster a culture of health and wellness by connecting the campus and the broader Decatur community with essential resources. Taking place on June 5, 2025, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Science Quadrangle, this free and public event will feature informational booths, interactive wellness activities, and expert guidance on topics such as fitness, nutrition, mental health, financial wellness, preventive care and more!.

Local farmers, health professionals, and wellness organizations will provide resources and services, including health screenings and benefits education. Attendees can also enjoy a farmers market, fitness demonstrations, and a raffle with prizes donated by participating vendors. Thrive Together is an opportunity to engage, learn, and take proactive steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
