Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta
Provides low-cost, high-quality legal services to refugees, asylees, Cuban entrants, survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other crimes, and other immigrants who have low income. The organization is licensed through the Department of Justice to represent clients before USCIS.

Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation
AVLF helps low-income Atlanta residents with the following issues: domestic violence, securing unpaid wages, disputing unlawful debt collection, landlord-tenant disputes, eviction defense, wills and advance directives, probate information.
Dekalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation
Assistance for low income Dekalb residents with civil matters.
Cobb Justice Foundation
Legal Aid provides free legal assistance in a wide variety of civil matters to those living at or below the federal poverty level. The CJF recruits private attorneys living and/or practicing in Cobb County to provide pro bono legal assistance to those who apply for legal assistance with Legal Aid of Cobb County. These volunteers are essential to the program and allow Legal Aid to provide services to a larger population, completely free-of-charge.
Clayton County Pro-Bono Project
Assists low-income individuals who live in Clayton County and are seeking legal representation with civil matters.
Georgia Legal Services Program
Free civil legal services to low-income individuals who live outside of Metro Atlanta for matters that include economic/community development, education, family law, farmworker rights, health care, housing, public benefits, and social security.
Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network
Provides free immigration legal services to victims of crime and persecution.
Latin American Association
The LAA offers affordable legal services to help eligible individuals obtain immigration benefits. This work includes direct services to provide general immigration legal services, immigration relief for victims, removal defense legal services and Permanent Resident cards. The LAA also provides family well-being services such as Rent and Utility assistance, Food Stamp and Medicaid assistance, youth mentoring and college advice.
International Refugee Assistance Project through Emory Law
hrough IRAP at Emory Law, law students assist volunteer attorneys to provide individual legal representation for refugees seeking resettlement and engage in policy work around refugee issues. Law students work under the supervision of pro bono attorneys from King & Spalding to prepare visa applications, submit appeals, and advocate and empower clients to successfully negotiate the resettlement process.
Emory LGBTQ Legal Services
Emory LGBTQ Legal Services (ELLS) exists to provide much-needed legal assistance to LGBTQ individuals in the Atlanta area. Georgia’s transgender population is the fourth-highest in the nation. ELLS will connect pro bono attorneys and volunteer law students with low-income LGBTQ clients who have legal needs that are not currently being addressed in our community. Currently, ELLS provides assistance in the following ways:
Filing insurance denial appeals for trans individuals
Completing advanced directives for the LGBTQ community
Compiling a database of community resources for LGBTQ individuals in need of legal assistance
