William Avilez Vasquez is a bilingual (Spanish/English) healthcare professional with a strong focus on serving multicultural industries, where Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are top priorities. His work has focused on collaborative communication initiatives, strategic care plans, and team support to enhance the overall experience for patients, customers, and employees.

William’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, where he specialized in Clinical program design and Clinical Research Administration, graduating with honors as a SUMMA CUM LAUDE. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Administration with a focus on Program Administration and Management.

As a Research Communication and Engagement Project Leader at Duke Clinical Research Institute, he is co-developing systems and processes to support inclusive, person-centered engagement models for the National Institute of Health HEAL Connections project.

In his role as a Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator II at Emory University School of Medicine, William oversaw national clinical trials and subprograms that focused on the care of HIV/AIDS that underserved communities receive. His expertise extended to participant outreach, learning and development initiatives, and external communications.

Previously, William held key positions in Northside Hospital Network's Emergency Medicine Services, co-managing the EHR system implementation process and supporting the department’s DE&I activities.

Having lived in Atlanta’s multicultural and bilingual community as a first-generation Nicaraguan immigrant, William possesses unique insights into the diverse needs and challenges faced by different populations. This valuable life experience enables him to optimize market operations and services for a wide range of audiences.
